Certified XP Professional (LAI-CXP) is a designation provided to someone who completes the Learning Objectives for XP Practitioner and demonstrates the knowledge to perform this role. Extreme Programming is one of the most popular and used Agile Framework. Extreme Programming (XP) is a software development approach especially geared for agile teams facing vague or rapidly changing requirements. XP is a style of software development focusing on excellent application of programming techniques, clear communication, and teamwork to accomplish the goals of productivity and quality.

This course provides the learners with the knowledge of XP Values, Principles and Practices.

  7. Describe a Roadmap to apply Extreme Programming.

  8. Demonstrate the benefits of XP - Delivering software that performs required tasks and meets expectations, accurate estimation of time to completion and cost of development, opportunity to decide which features to include and which to defer, frequent small releases that incorporate continual customer feedback and constant integration and automated testing that insures clean code and robust performance.

  9. Explain Test Driven Development and TDD Cycle – Red, Green and Refactor.
